Origin Capital, a newly launched provider of senior debt commercial property finance in the Irish market was a sponsor of Property Industry Ireland’s ‘Financing for Property Development’ conference, alongside LeBruin, Bank of Ireland and MyHome.ie.
The half-day seminar, held in the Marker Hotel in Dublin on 25th May, brought together property developers, senior lenders and finance providers to discuss property development in Ireland.
Over 140 attendees at the event heard from speakers from Goodbody Stockbrokers, LeBruin, Bank of Ireland, WK Nowlan and Burlington Real Estate. This conference marked Origin’s first sponsorship of an industry event and provided strong brand exposure to all attendees.
Origin Capital has been set up to meet the growing demand for CRE finance in the Dublin market, and has seen particularly strong demand since its launch in April. The firm has had requests from borrowers to provide over €150m of financing, and issued term sheets on over €50m of transactions in 5 weeks, €30m of which has already been credit approved.
Origin Capital provides senior debt commercial property finance in the Irish market for investment deals in excess of €3m. The company is a joint venture between LeBruin and certain investment funds managed by Tricadia Capital Management, LLC, a New York-based investment firm with approximately $4b in assets under management.
